Who we are

J&M Roofing is based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and does residential and commercial roofing across Oakland and Macomb County and the surrounding area — anywhere within about 60 miles. We replace and repair shingle roofs on houses, and repair, coat, maintain and replace the flat, low-slope and metal roofs on commercial buildings.

Customers tend to mention Joe by name. He's the one who comes out, gets on the roof, and walks you through what he found — and the crew that does the work is his.

How we work

• We look before we price. On the roof when it's safe, and in the attic. A roof can't be quoted honestly from the driveway.
• You see what we see. We take photos of the problem areas, so the estimate isn't a matter of taking our word for it.
• Written, itemized prices. So you know what you're paying for, and can compare it line by line with anyone else's.
• The smallest fix that actually works. If a repair will do, you'll hear that. If the roof is done, you'll hear that too, and why.
• Leave it clean. Debris hauled away and the yard and driveway swept for nails before we go.
